Maestra mezcalera Alejandrina, runs her small artisinal-style palenque in a tiny valley outside of Zoquitlán. The unique microclimate of this area, coupled with her mastery of the art of mezcal production, means her distillations are some of the best anywhere. Her tepeztate highlights the exceptional sweetness of this agave, leaving notes of melon, tropical fruits and honey on the palate. It is famous for its funk.
