Working in copper, Laurentino lives in Santa Catarina Coatlán in the Mihuatlán area of Oaxaca with his wife and two sons. Laurentino found us through our Operatons Manager, Alan Lara. Alan’s sister is a school teacher who has one of Laurentino’s sons as a pupil. We recently sent a sample of Laurentino’s Mexicano (Agave rhodacantha) to the author of one of our favorite mezcal books, and here’s the comments we got back: “perhaps Cuentacuentos’ best expression ever,” and “world class.”
